Erin Hutchins, DO
Dr. Hutchins was born and raised here in Ocala. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and completed Medical School at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also completed a Predoctoral Fellowship in Osteopathic Principles and Practice. She completed a Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando. Dr. Hutchins is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and follows the principles of Health At Every Size.
She has always wanted to come back to her hometown of Ocala to practice medicine. Dr. Hutchins offers personalized primary care and is passionate about the health and wellbeing of her patients, which is why she chose Direct Primary Care. She also offers Osteopathic Manipulation Treatments (OMT) to her patients and a la carte for patients outside the practice. Dr. Hutchins is married to Travis and they have two children, Hawk and River.
